1006 eggs were used for cooking the largest baursak in Russia

In Ufa in Salavat Yulaev square the country's largest baursak (national Bashkir dessert) - 179 kilograms was made. The giant baursak was made of 1006 eggs, 25 kg of sugar, 70 kg of flour, 50 kg of Bashkir honey. The radio station "Sputnik FM" organized the event.

As the press service of Ufa administration informs, the editor in chief of the Russian Book of Records Stanislav Konenko specially arrived in the capital of Bashkortostan for fixing the record. Everyone could be involved in this event making an entry in a special book and taking pictures against the largest baursak. A part of the dessert was sent to the Russian President Vladimir Putin in a special box.

The process of cooking the Bashkir national delicacy took several hours. During this time an entertainment program was held on the stage. Participants of the music festival "Ufa Wave" performed their best songs. Presenters of the morning show at "Sputnik FM" Trofim Tatarnikov, Elena Rempel and Boris Bystrov prepared fun contests, games and gifts. The main prize, a scooter went to the village of Lower Tyukun of Karmaskalinsky region. It was Gulnaz Hasanova who received it for making the largest baursak weighting more than 12 kg.
