City volunteer clean-up is held in Ufa

A city volunteer clean-up on sanitation, accomplishment and landscaping of territories is held in Ufa on April 19.

As reported by the press service of the City Council, Ufa residents have an important task – to clean up the city before the May holidays. Large amount of garbage still remains not only in backyards, but even in the main streets.

Workers of city enterprises and companies, students of educational institutions take part in the clean-up.

The deputies of the City Council also attended the event. The Chairman of the Council Eugene Semivelichenko was engaged in accomplishment of Inors district- he participated in the clean-up together with the employees of UMPO company.

Deputy Andrei Borisov together with residents of Ordzhonikidzevsky district of Ufa and workers of Children Creativity Centre "Innovator" was engaged in cleaning the area in Svoboda Street. Secretariat of the City Council and the Audit Commission together with the city administration also participated in the cleanup having cleaned from waste and accomplished the territory in October Avenue and adjacent streets near the City Hall.
