Bashkir State Pedagogical University holds the VII Education Week of SCO

The Bashkortostan Government adopted a decree on holding in Ufa from May 20 to 23 VII Education Week of state-members of Shanghai Cooperation Organization «Education without Borders». The week will be attended by the SCO University rectors, representatives of the Russian Academy of Sciences, prominent figures of science, education and culture of the states - SCO members.

The forthcoming Education Week will be focused on discussing the development of international cooperation in education and science within the areas of "Pedagogics" and "Economics" ; system of highly qualified personnel and pedagogical staff training for the Universities of SCO, ensuring the formation of the Eurasian educational environment; implementation of joint research programs and projects.

The theme of the plenary session is "Problems and prospects of highly qualified specialists training for innovative education and economic development of states - members of the SCO". Two round table-conferences with online broadcasting are scheduled for the Week: "Modernization of pedagogical staff training process in the higher education system of the Eurasian environment" – at Bashkir State Pedagogical University, and "Convergence of educational programs in the online university in the field of economics" – at Ufa State Aviation Technical University.

The forum program also includes an exhibition and presentation of scientific and educational projects of vocational pedagogical education institutions and a press conference.
