The Belaya River rose by 5 cm near Ufa

According to Ufa "Emergency service 112" in the morning of April 13, the level of the Belaya River near the capital increased by 5 cm and was 54 cm. A year ago the river level was fixed at 399 cm. The upper figure of the last year high water on the river was 516 cm. Recall that flooding of low parts of the city starts at a height of 720 cm of water. The expected level is 670 - 770 cm.

The level of the river in Sipaylovo residential district in Ufa currently stands at 135 cm (minus 5 cm per day). On April 13, 2013 it was 297 cm.

High water at Bashkir rivers is delayed due to prolonged cold periods. According to initial forecasts high water was expected a few days earlier than usual, which was prevented by the "deferred" warm weather. As a result, the ice on the Belaya River near Ufa still does not move. In recent years, an ice drift near the city took place usually on April 11 - 13.
