Preparation plan for the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory is approved in Bashkortostan

Pursuant to the Decree of the President of Bashkortostan "On the preparation and celebration of the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945" the head of the republic has approved the plan for the upcoming anniversary events.

In particular, it is planned to make overhaul repairs and equipping with medical facilities of rehabilitation department of the Republican Clinical Hospital of War Veterans located in Ufa, to improve the living conditions of the disabled veterans and war veterans; to inspect their living premises for subsequent repairs and improvement; to provide assistance to veterans in medical, social and domestic servicing.

Besides, it is scheduled to conduct solemn meetings with laying flowers at the monuments , obelisks and memorials to war veterans; to organize and produce souvenirs; to conduct passportization of war graves; to hold contest of memorial projects to home front workers and its installation in Ufa; to accomplish Slavy Boulevard, to move a bust of twice Hero of the Soviet Union Musa Gareev to a new location in the territory of the Bashkir capital; to purchase equipment for the creation of a generalized data bank "Memorial Bashkortostan" and other memorial and cultural events.
