Ufa residents took part in the World Health Day

On the World Health Day Ufa hosted a special medical and preventive event organized by the Youth Public Chamber of the State Assembly RB and Bashkir State Medical University (BSMU). About 500 city residents came to learn about the state of their health.

“The state of young people health today is an important aspect of national safety”, the chairman of the Youth Chamber at the State Assembly RB Tahir Gizatullin said. “The event was attended by students of Ufa universities, students of University of the Third Age, as well as young professionals. Everyone received a health passport and went a mini- survey.”

Ufa townspeople participated in sports and recreational games, lectures and discussions on ill-health prevention, diagnostic consultation. Participants of the event were measured their blood pressure, blood sugar and their biological age.

Employees of city polyclinic No. 49 and senior students of BSMU acted as specialist consultants there. Representatives of the Health Centre of Medical University sanatorium told about modern technology in the field of health and healthy lifestyles. They also noted that people should know what hospitals contact if they had problems with health.

There was an entertainment program, contests and sports competitions. The Health Day was closed with a flash mob.
