Winners of the contest devoted to 25th anniversary of troops withdrawal from Afghanistan were awarded in Bashkortostan

The awarding ceremony of the republican contest dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the combat mission completion in Afghanistan was held in the museum of 112th Bashkir Cavalry Division. The contest was carried out on the initiative of the regional public organization "Bashkir Union of Combat Veterans" and the Ministry of Education RB. The support was provided by the State Duma deputy from Bashkortostan Marsel Yusupov.

The awarding ceremony was opened by the organizer of the contest - the chairman of the Bashkir Union of Combat Veterans Timeryan Razhapov. In his speech he noted that the contest involved 35 research and creative works in different nominations. Research papers, essays, poems, videos, articles were submitted for the contest.

Authors of the best works received certificates and gift vouchers. Ilnur Migmanov, the winner of youth patriotic song competitions gave a musical performance.

The winners of the research and creative contest "Let’s preserve the historical memory of veterans - soldiers of the Afghan war" examined the expositions of the museum.
