Letters of Bashkiria residents are delivered to Sevastopol

The night before, the participants of humanitarian expedition to Crimea returned to Ufa. It started on March 24 at the Friendship Monument Square. A motor caravan of four trucks loaded with 75 tons of cargo travelled the way of 2.5 thousand kilometres to reach Simferopol. A photojournalist from Bashinform New Agency Oleg Yarovikov was also among the participants of the expedition along with journalists, senior officials of the Government RB. We mentioned in the previous article about how the convoy brought the humanitarian aid to Simferopol.
In Sevastopol, the humanitarian mission participants from Bashkortostan distributed messages from people directly on the streets.
Letters were received by war veterans, ordinary passers-by, young people. One of the messages written by Dorifey priest, the cleric of Neftekamsk and Birsk diocese was transferred personally to father George, the legendary abbot of Sevastopol St. Nicholas Church.
The action "We - together", as part of which more than two hundred Ufa residents sent letters to residents of Crimea was initiated by the regional office of All-Russia People’s Front.
Some residents of Crimea during a short stay of our delegation on the peninsula managed to write response messages. These letters are already in Ufa and will soon be handed over to their addressees.
