Bashkiria’s humanitarian aid is delivered to residents of Crimea

Last night a humanitarian aid from Bashkortostan to residents of Crimea arrived in the city of Simferopol. According to the member of this humanitarian expedition, the head of the press service of the Government of RB Pavel Samoilin, a motor caravan of four heavy-duty trucks with a cargo of 75 tons went a distance of 2.5 thousand kilometres.

In Kerch the humanitarian mission members were met by representatives of the Bashkir Diaspora – the General Director of Trade House "Bashkortostan" Marat Masalimov with his colleagues. Then, the caravan from Bashkortostan accompanied by the traffic police departed to the capital of Crimea the city of Simferopol at 16 o’clock local time.

"In Simferopol we arrived late at night. Unloading was held on the basis of the warehouses of the Ministry of Health of Crimea. We were welcomed by the Minister of Health of Crimea Peter Mihalchitsky and the Commissioner of the Council of Ministers of Crimea for Humanitarian Aid Alexander Astakhov. Unloading took two hours. The process was filmed on camera by representatives of Russian TV channels - First Channel, TVC. Journalists from Russian and Crimean media were present there. After the unloading, we immediately went to Sevastopol. Today, we will continue holding the action here "A Letter to Crimea", will distribute letters and books among Sevastopol organizations. Some books and letters have already been transferred to the residents of Kerch, Simferopol. We will communicate with Sevastopol residents, tell them about Bashkortostan and Russia.”
