The best teacher of the year will be chosen among 115 teachers of Bashkortostan

The republican stage of the contest "Teacher of the Year of Bashkortostan- 2014" will be held in Ufa, from March 31 to April 8. Besides the main winner in the nomination, the best teachers of language and literature will be determined.

As the press service of the Education Development Institute RB informs, 115 teachers will participate in the contest of pedagogical skills, among them there will be 61 teachers of different subjects, 22 teachers of Tatar language and literature, 32 teachers of Russian language and literature. Contestants will hold open lessons in schools, master classes, and will participate in open discussions.

The grand jury will be headed by the rector of Bashkir State Pedagogical University Rail Asadullin.

The purpose of the contest organized by the Ministry of Education RB, the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of Public Education and Science RB and the Education Development Institute RB is to identify, support and encourage talented, creative teachers, to increase prestige of the teaching profession, to spread innovative ideas in the field of education and to share positive educational experience of the best teachers of the republic.

The closing ceremony, awarding the winners and laureates will be held on April 8.
