Rustem Khamitov congratulated Bashkir athletes and coaches - participants of the Winter Paralympics in Sochi

On March 17, the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov sent congratulatory telegrams to athletes and coaches representing our republic at the XI Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi, the press service of the head of the region informs.

Greetings from the head of the republic were received by Paralympics medalists - Irek Zaripov, Azat Karachurin, Kirill Mikhailov, Alexander Davidovich and coaches - Amir Gumerov, Salavat Gumerov and Nadezhda Gumerova. In the telegrams the leader of the republic expressed his admiration on sporting achievements of athletes from Bashkortostan and wished them new champion titles.

Bashkir athletes replenished the medal count of the Russian team with four bronze, one silver and two gold medals. Upon arrival in the republic athletes represented Bashkortostan at Paralympics and won medals will receive monetary awards.
