Short tracker Zakharov remained without awards at the World Cup in Canada

In Montreal, Canada the World Short-Track Championship finished. In the final competitions - the men's 5000 m relay the Russians were only the fourth. The team included: Victor An, Vladimir Grigoriev and Ufa natives Semen Yelistratov and Dmitry Migunov .

"Gold" was won by the Dutch short trackers, "silver" went to the South Koreans, "bronze" – to the British team.

In individual races only six-time Olympic champion Viktor An managed to win the gold medal at the 1000 m distance. Ufa sportsman Ruslan Zakharov did not qualified for the finals.
