Ufa Planetarium invites viewers to "Journey to a Billions Suns"

International Planetariums Day is celebrated this year on March 16. On this day, Ufa planetarium will delight its audience with at once two premieres. The "Journey to a Billions Suns" - a film about the new satellite telescope «GAIA», about the objects in our galaxy will be screened at 16.30.

The second premiere will take place at 15 o’clock - the "Mystery of the Trees" film will tell about the wonderful world of trees, their life structure. It certainly will impress children and adults with stunningly beautiful graphics.

If the weather is sunny, then everyone will be able to look at prominences via unique solar telescope "Coronado" mounted on a square in front of the planetarium.

The year of 2014 is an anniversary year of the Ufa planetarium; it is 50 years since its opening. But to this day it is the only stationary planetarium in the republic giving people an opportunity to join the vast world of space, to understand their place in the universe.
