Olympic Games participants handed over bikes to children in Bashkiria

The Regional Executive Committee of the "United Russia" party summed up the results of Children's Painting Competition dedicated to the last Olympics in Sochi. The ceremony was attended by 100 children from all over Bashkortostan, ER.RU reported.

Total more than 10 000 works took part in the republican contest "This is our Olympics! Sochi - 2014" announced by the Young Guard of Bashkortostan. Members of the jury, during one week selected 100 laureates and winners of the competition. The awards were handed them over by deputies of the State Assembly of Bashkortostan, the Regional Executive Committee of the party leadership, the sponsors of the competition, as well as specially invited participants of the Olympic Games in Turin and Sochi.

All invited children received diplomas of participants, balls and calendars with pictures of the winners. Three absolute winners received bikes from the Olympic sportsmen.

The competition winner was Alia Ganieva who was a fan of Yulia Lipnitskaya at Winter Olympics in Sochi.

Special gifts were handed over to orphanages and kindergartens of the republic, which pupils sent their team works at the competition. It is also worth noting 100 works were selected for participation in the exhibition dedicated to Sochi 2014.
