Winter Olympic in Sochi 2014: Last day for short-track medals and women's biathlon

On Friday, February 21, in Sochi a final women's race in biathlon will be held at the Winter Olympics. It will be relay 4х6 km. The Russian team will include Yana Romanova, Ekaterina Shumilova, Olga Zaitseva and native of Bashkortostan (Mezhgoyre) Olga Vilukhina.

Recall that among women only Olga Vilukhina has a medal of these Games - silver in sprint.

The women's relay starts at 18.30 (Moscow Time).

Also this is the last medal day of short track. Men have two distances - 500 m and 5000 m relay.

Three Russians will run in the short distance, among which is Ufa native Semen Yelistratov. He also will compete in the relay, as well as two more Ufa residents - Ruslan Zakharov and Dmitry Migunov. Along with them Viktor An and Vladimir Grigoriev will compete for medals.

500 m quarterfinals start at - 20.30 (MSK). Then the next heats will be held and the relay final as a completion of the day.
