Ufa is included in Top 10 of the largest industrial centres of Russia

In 2013, Ufa ranked the seventh among the 250 largest industrial centres of Russia. The city retains these positions for the seventh consecutive year, the head of Ufa administration Irek Yalalov reported at the press conference devoted to social and economic development of the capital.

The profit of enterprises reached 118 billion rubles in 2013. This is above the level of 2012 by 61 percent. Also Ufa has the lowest share of unprofitable enterprises among Russian megacities - 14.3 percent.

In 2013, investments exceeded 100 billion rubles. Thus, about 100 thousand rubles of investments is accounted for each resident of Ufa.

“We will continue to work on the development of all sectors of the urban economy. We will plan our municipality work basing on public opinion research”, Irek Yalalov said.
