"Iremel" Natural Park is equipped with solar panels in Bashkiria

To ensure the safety of tourists the "Iremel" Natural Park equips its checkpoints with modern means of communication and energy sources.

As the director of the Natural Park Rimma Galeeva says, 100W solar panels are already installed at Tyulyuk checkpoint.

“That's enough to illuminate the checkpoint and supply communications between the checkpoint and the inspector's house in the Tyulyuk village within six kilometers,” the director explained. “Installation of solar panels does not require huge investments, the expenses pay out quickly. The next step is installing the batteries at Avnyar checkpoint in Beloretsky region.”

Meanwhile, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Nature and Environment of Bashkortostan, about 12.5 thousand people visited the "Iremel" Natural Park in 2013. Currently, the Park has four checkpoints, each of which is staffed by inspectors.
