Ufa resident Iskander Akhmetov is the winner of Russian Fencing Championship

Ufa resident Iskander Akhmetov won the gold medal in the fence tournament at the Championship of Russia among cadets in Arzamas (Nizhny Novgorod region).

In the quarterfinals, Iskander defeated Andrey Mamchenko (Krasnoyarsk Territory) - 15:4, in the semifinals Alexander Sirotkin (Yaroslavl) was stronger - 15:9.

In the final Akhmetov met with Samara foilsman Kyril Borodachev and won with a score 15:7.
