Salavat Yulaev and Sibir defined the best in the shootout

In Novosibirsk, the match of the Kontinental Hockey League Championship between Sibir and Salavat Yulaev (Ufa) took place yesterday.
After one goal missed at the beginning of the first period Ufa players managed to took the lead after two accurate throws by Vasilevsky and Glukhov- 2:1.
Starting the third period was all rosy for Salavat - Anton Babchuk realised the powerplay - 3:1. But equally well Ufa team lost its advantage - 3:3.
The winner was not defined during the overtime. And in the shootout Igor Mirnov was the luckiest in throwing - three shots reached the net that can be considered a record. Andrey Vasilevsky, the goaltender of Ufa also played well. Salavat won the match - 4:3.
Next match Salavat Yulaev will hold versus Metallurg (Novokuznetsk) on January 29.
