Three Ufa athletes guaranteed themselves medals of Universiade in Trentino

The day before, the women’s ice-hockey semifinals were held at the World Winter Universiade in the Italian Trentino. Russians in a bitter struggle snatched a 3:2 victory from the USA team in the shootout.

Three ice-hockey players of Ufa "Agidel" - Julia Sadykova, Elena Bulatova and Elina Mitrofanova play as part of the Russian student team at the Universiade.

In the finals Russia will play versus Canada. Canadians made a convincing win in their semifinal over the Japanese team- 15:0.

Recall that at group stage the Russian team conceded Canadians with a score 0:5. And now Russia's chance in the match for the "gold" is slim. Finals will be held on December 20.
