Temperature will drop to minus 30 degrees Celsius in Bashkiria

Frosts will return to Bashkortostan, but not for a long time, the chief forecaster of Bashkir Hydrometeorological Centre Anna Kozaeva said.

On the night from Thursday to Friday, December 20, the temperature will drop to the level of 15-20 degrees below zero. In the northern areas of the republic temperatures will go down to minus 30 degrees.

In the night from Friday to Saturday frosts will become more severe up to 20-25 degrees below zero.

“Emergency situations are not expected” Anna Kozaeva said. “Frosts are common phenomenon, typical for this time of year.”
