More than 150 firefighters will be on duty during the Olympic Torch Relay in Ufa

Bashkortostan firefighters are ready to respond to potential emergencies during the Ufa Olympic Torch Relay "Sochi 2014".

According to the press service of the capital Fire Department, the structure of the executive staff is defined to coordinate activity. Total more than 150 firefighters will be on duty at the Relay. Fire tank trucks will be on alert in places where the Torch Relay will be carried out - total 22 vehicles.

The day before the employees of the Department conducted a preventive raid of all the objects located on the route of the Olympic Flame. Meetings were held with the heads of institutions and organizations where special attention was paid to the availability of emergency firefighting equipment, electrical equipment condition, emergency exits and fire water.
