First Aqua Park is opened in Ufa

A technical opening of "Planeta" shopping mall and the Aqua Park was held in the capital of Bashkiria on Saturday, December 14. The opening ceremony was attended by the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov.

“A dream of Ufa and Bashkortostan residents has come true” the head of the republic said. “We waited for the appearance of its Aqua Park for several decades. It’s great that Ufa is in the list of cities that have such facilities. Now, we won’t have to go to Samara, Kazan and Magnitorogorsk to visit an aqua park. Of course, this victory was not an easy one. It is quite a difficult task to construct such a building. I express gratitude to designers and builders who worked on this project.”

The total area of the Aqua Park is 5 thousand 400 square metres. More than 100 certified instructors will be responsible for its safety. The swimming pool is stylized as tropical lake with dinosaurs with several water slides. There is an area for elderly visitors equipped with a sauna and Turkish baths.

There is a swimming pool that simulates the sea waves, six restaurants and cafes in the Aqua Park.

It was only a technical opening on December 14. The first visitors are waited here in two days, after final testing of all services, equipment and personnel of the Aqua Park. The Park administration assures that all facilities are checked by water safety instructors.
