"Road map" for hydraulic works safety is approved in Bashkortostan

The Bashkortostan Government approved an action plan to ensure the safety of hydraulic structures in the republic. The Order of the Government RB is signed on December 6, 2013.

According to the website of the Government RB, the republican authorities are charged, and the territorial bodies of the federal government and municipalities are recommended to provide monthly to the Ministry of Nature and Ecology RB information about the implementation of the roadmap measures.

The follow-up is assigned to the Deputy Prime Minister of Bashkortostan Ernst Isaev.

Earlier it was reported that in 2013 works on inventory check of all hydraulic structures, surveys conducting, defining owners and developing a work plan to ensure safe operation should be completed.

At the moment there are more than 100 ownerless waterworks in the republic.
