Japanese pianist will give a solo concert at the Bashkir State Philharmonic Society
On December 11 an evening of chamber music will be held at the Akhmetov’s Bashkir State Philharmonic Society. "Classics with a Sakura Flavour" program will be presented by Tomona Miyazaki, pianist from Japan, winner of international competitions.
In the first part the audience will hear the music of Mozart, Liszt, Handel, Balakirev, Glinka and others. The second part will include compositions by Čiurlionis, Kobayashi, Bryukvin, Piazzolla.
According to the press service of the Bashkir State Philharmonic Society, Tomona Miyazaki studied in Tokyo, then postgraduate studies at the Moscow Conservatory, where she graduated from the same graduate school.
Pianist has won several first prizes at the competitions; she leads an active touring activity. Tomona Miyazaki repeatedly played with chamber and symphony orchestras, including the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra conducted by Pavel Kogan.
