Bashkir students go to the Winter Universiade in Italy

XXVI Winter Universiade will be held in the Italian Trentino from December 11 to 21, 2013.

In Italy about 3000 students from 162 countries will compete in the following kinds of sports: biathlon, alpine skiing, curling, skating, Nordic combined, ski races, ski jumping, snowboarding, figure skating, freestyle skiing, short track and ice hockey.

According to the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Bashkortostan the Russian student team will include eight representatives of the republic: Ramil Zarifullin (ski jumping) , Adel Saifullina (ski jumping), Dmitry Zharkov and Damir Hinsertdinov (Nordic Combined) Dmitry Migunov and Dmitry Myasnikov (short track), Mikhail Pudovkin (freestyle - ski cross), Olga Repnitsina (skiing) .

In the near future the structure of women's ice hockey team will be determined. Six ice-hockey players of Ufa "Agidel" - Elena Bulatova, Natalia Vorontsova, Julia Sadykova, Ekaterina Zakharova, Lilith Karoyan and Elina Mitrofanova are among possible candidates.
