Ufa is the best city in PFO on life safety of the population

Ufa won the first place among the urban districts of the Volga Federal District (PFO) in the contest "The Best Local Government Municipality in Life Safety of the Population". The city of Neftekamsk is also among the winners. It is the third with 54 points.

The competition was conducted in two stages. The first stage took place in the regions, the second in federal districts.

The victory of the capital of Bashkortostan, of course, means that the inhabitants of the metropolis have another reason for pride and confidence that the Ufa is one of the safest cities in Russia.

As the press service of the city administration informs, today, a whole range of measures to ensure the safety of the population is realized in Ufa. The construction of a flood-control dam in Sipailovo residential district is under completion, emergency-broadcast systems are expanded and reconstructed, a storm water drain network is upgraded, new fire stations in remote areas are opened. All this allowed Ufa confidently taking the first place among PFO megacities in the sphere of safety provision.
