Rustem Khamitov: "Agriculture is the main priority for me"

The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov handed over state awards to the best representatives of agricultural complex on November 8.

“Today we honor those who have done much in the agricultural field. Our agricultural sector is one of the best in Russia,” Rustem Khamitov said at the awards ceremony of the 40 best workers in agriculture and processing industry. “We are doing a lot to keep these advanced positions. We always try to help people, to help implementing new initiatives in this complicated and very important industry.”

As the President of Bashkortostan marked "we have very scale projects and plans" and "I have always said and will say that agriculture - is a top priority for me".

During the last two or three years mega projects in agricultural production have been launched in the region. The plans include development of this kind of activity while not forgetting about the medium-scale businesses.
