New microbiology laboratory was opened at "Immunopreparat" company in Ufa

The new microbiological laboratory on the area of 1200 square meters was opened at the Ufa enterprise "Immunopreparat" ("Scientific-Production Association "Microgen" branch).

Here laminar clean benches to protect personnel and vaccines, air filters, disinfection and ventilation systems are installed.

In the new laboratory professionals will be able to carry out microbiological control of incoming raw materials, substances, packaging materials, bacteriophages, to check growth properties of culture media, as well as to monitor the indexes of purified water and liquids for injection.

“The laboratory is built in full compliance with international GMP standards,” Guzel Yusupova, the spokesman of Imunnopreparat says. “The project is implemented in cooperation with the Czech FAVEA company”.

Immunopreparat manufactures vaccines, serums, toxoids to meet the needs of Russia and the CIS countries in the framework of the national immunization calendar and epidemic indications. Among them there are immunobiological products for protection against influenza, tetanus, diphtheria, whooping cough, rabies and other infections.
