Ufa became the winner of the All-Russian contest "Children must live in families"

Ufa won in the category of Russian capitals in the contest "Children must live in families" based on the results of online voting. According to the press service of Ufa administration, the organizer of the competition is the Foundation for Children Support in Difficult Situations.

The capital of Bashkortostan gained 5221 votes. Derbent , Volzhsky and Stupino became leaders in their categories.

The competition is held among Russian towns (urban districts) where local authorities pay special attention to the prevention of child abandonment and family problems, family placement of orphans and children left without parental care, access to information about this category of children, formation among citizens of responsible attitude to family responsibilities.

This year 167 cities of 62 regions of the Russian Federation took part in the contest.
