Salavat Yulaev to play with "Eastern" leader

On Friday, November 1, Astana will host the championship match of the Kontinental Hockey League, in which one of the leaders of the Eastern Conference, Barys will meet with Salavat Yulaev (Ufa).

Kazakh Barys playfully started the championship and has scored 49 points in 22 games, by six points ahead of Salavat.

The East Kharlamov Division is headed by Kazan Ak Bars, which has 51 points, but played 23 games. That is potentially Astana takes the first place.

However, in the last three home games Barys won only once (Neftekhimik (Nizhnekamsk) - 5:1) lost to Tractor ( Chelyabinsk) - 1:5 and Metallurg ( Magnitogorsk) - 1:2.

Ufa players lost the last match versus Avangard in Omsk in the shootout - 1:2, and alternated games of this series with victories and defeats.

This meeting in Astana will start at 19:00, Ufa -time, to be broadcasted on TV channels "Russia -2" and BST.
