"The Sound of Kurai over the Seine" film continues to gather its audience in Germany

On Saturday, October 26, at the club of German-Russian Benevolent Society of St. Alexander in Leipzig, an evening dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Nations took place. Among the guests there were historians, Slavic scholars, writers, poets, journalists, the reporter Guzel Girfanova informed.
Elizabeth Tumim, well-known author of historical books, presented to the audience her latest book titled "Russian troops in the Battle of Nations".
After the performance of the opera singer with arias dedicated to the Patriotic War of 1812, and the report of the famous historian and Slavonic scholar, Professor Erhard Hekselshnayder, the film "The Sound of Kurai over the Seine" was shown. Nasur Yurushbaev, the film's director, now living and working in Germany came in front of the guests dressed in warrior form of the Bashkir soldier. Sharing his impressions of the evening, Nasur Yurushbaev said:
“I received an invitation to take part in this event already at the beginning of the year, and, of course, I agreed. I am very happy that the audience breathlessly watched the movie, and after the display fired questions at me. Many had only a vague idea of the history of Bashkirs, their participation in the war, but now after watching this film, imagined how it was in reality. I'm just happy that the film has not lost its relevance, and it always has its audience.”
