Rima Batalova: «It is important to provide conditions for disabled people at sports objects in Sochi»

The deputy of the State Duma from Bashkortostan Rima Batalova during her working trip to Sochi has visited the III Open Festival of Culture and Sports "Para-Art" for physically challenged people.

In her opening speech the deputy has marked importance and vital necessity of similar events. Such meetings give participants confidence in their own forces and possibility to express themselves in various spheres of public life.

Also as part of her working trip the glorified sportswoman and deputy visited sports facilities where soon the XXII Olympic and XI Paralympic Games will be held. During survey of objects Rima Batalova paid a special attention to the barrier free environment. She marked that all sports objects erected both for sports of higher achievements, and for mass sports, should be suitable also for disabled people.
