"Bashkir" trolleybus ran along the Garden Ring Road of Moscow

On the threshold of the Day of Bashkortostan Republic in the centre of Moscow an unusual musical-tour trolleybus decorated with the Bashkir ornament has run. Within a day it has made three tours along the Garden Ring Road. First-year students from our republic who entered Moscow universities this year and only starting their acquaintance with the megacity were on the trolley bus’s board during the first tour. The second tour was with more senior passengers, members of Bashkortostan community in Moscow, and the third tour — with active members of Association of Students and Post-graduate Students from Bashkortostan Republic in Moscow and St.-Petersburg. As a mobile musical-tour salon this trolley bus became a part of a big program prepared by Bashkortostan community in Moscow to the Day of Republic.

The event was held as part of the Moscow Inter-regional Festival "Moscow — Our Common Home", representing one after another more than 80 regional communities of Russia in Moscow throughout all 2013. The Department of inter-regional cooperation, national policy and communications with religious organisations of Moscow Government, ANO "MFKD" Stolny Grad", the Bashkortostan Republic Plenipotentiary Representation Office under the President of the Russian Federation and Moscow «Zemlyachestvo Bashkortostana" regional public organization acted as organizers of the event.
