QR-codes appear on cultural sights of Ufa

Plates with QR-codes are established on monuments and places of interest in Ufa. For the last two months such plates have appeared on 16 objects interesting for tourists, the city administration informs. Among them there is Ivan Yakutov Park, Botanical Garden-Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, V.I.Lenin’s House-Museum, Ufa City Planetarium, "Akbuzat" hippodrome, "Lyalya-Tulpan" mosque and others.

An object name in Bashkir, Russian and English languages and a QR-code are put on the plate. When reading QR-code by a special program through a camera of smart phone, communicator or a tablet computer, a user is automatically transferred on the information-tourist webportal of the city administration. It is possible to receive detailed information on the tourist object, to view pictures, historical pictures there.

Introduction of information technologies are aimed at making walks across Ufa more interesting and full of information. New feature is accessible to each owner of a mobile device with camera and access to the Internet, the press-service of the Ufa mayoralty marks.
