Readiness of emergency-broadcast system will be checked up in Bashkiria

Readiness of the regional centralised automated emergency-broadcast system will be checked up on Friday, October 4, from 11.00 till 11.30, local time, the Main Office of the Russian Emergencies Ministry in Bashkortostan informs.

For the population notification all electric syrens available in the republic with a warning signal «Attention Everybody!» will be switched on, and also television channels and broadcasting stations will be involved. The present technical check of the emergency-broadcast system is spent as part of the All-Russia training devoted to 81st anniversary from the date of civil defence formation in the Russian Federation.

The last such check was spent in Bashkortostan on April 23, current year.

The regional centralised automated emergency-broadcast system is intended for timely bringing the information to the republican population about the dangers arising at conducting military operations, and also threat of occurrence or occurrence of natural and technogenic emergencies.
