Next program of social tourism development is confirmed in Kumertau

The worthy gift to pensioners and veterans of the city of Kumertau to the Day of Older Persons was prepared by deputies of the City Council who approved the long-term program «Development of social tourism in the city of Kumertau of Bashkortostan Republic for 2013-2016» at their meeting. Last year the organizer of the program — Kumertau Local Lore and History Museum organised five social tours to Ufa for 192 people.

The new project of the program became its continuation and is developed taking into account the accumulated experience. The program is meant for four years, it assumes increase in number of participants, and also expansion of geography of social tours. It is planned to organise trips to the Western Bashkortostan, Trans-Urals, Ufa, Nurimanovsky and Gafuriysky regions, and also the cities of Kazan, Samara and Tolyatti. 60 percent of tours costs are paid from the local budget, 40 percent by the tourists themselves.

The program focused on popularisation of social tourism, observance of civil rights to rest, health protection, physical and mental rehabilitation.
