Ministry of Forestry of Bashkiria has summed up preliminary results of fire- hazardous season-2013

“From the beginning of this year 60 forest fires on the total area of 136,26 hectares have been registered in the territory of the forest fund of our republic. It was allocated six million rbl. for suppression of forest fires, one million rbl. were spent. The damage caused to the forest fund made 111 thousand rbl.,” the head of the press-service of the Ministry Aibulat Gajnullin noted.

In 2013 the majority of fires occurred in the mountainous forest zone: Beloretsky, Burzyansky and Zilairsky regions.

As the Ministry press-service marks, infringement of fire prevention rules is the second in number of infringements of the wood legislation in the republic.

The total sum of penalties imposed on infringers by inspectors of the state forest and fire supervision made 2,6 million rbl. this year. At present 1,3 million rbl. are collected from them.

60 cases related to all occurred fire outbreaks are sent to investigatory bodies.

For the last two months forest fires are not registered in Bashkiria.

In 2010 there were 608 forest fires in the republic on the area of 11,6 thousand hectares.

In 2011 in the territory of Bashkiria there were 80 forest fires, which total area made 478 hectares.

220 forest fires on the area of more than 1,56 thousand hectares were registered in the region in 2012.
