Bashkiria has expanded possibilities of social tourism program

Governmental Order RB from September 11, 2013 makes amendments to the long-term target-oriented program «Development of domestic and inbound tourism in Bashkortostan» for 2012-2016.

The main difference of the subprogram for 2013 is that its participants will receive personal certificates, instead of vouchers. Henceforth they will be able to address independently to tourist organisations and to choose a social tour within a direction designated at application filling: Bashkortostan Republic, sanatoria of Bashkortostan, the Russian Federation, abroad.

Also for the first time a quota is introduced for needy pensioners and disabled people — as 15 percent from total number of elderly people and people with disabilities living in a specific municipal area of the republic. For this group of citizens a face-value of a personal certificate is provided as 12 thousand rbl.

Besides, in 2013 each municipal district, except for Ufa, and each administrative district of the Bashkir capital will have quotas for number of tourist vouchers for wheelchair persons and disabled children in number of two vouchers, including vouchers for accompanying persons.

A face-value of a personal certificate for other participants of the program, irrespectively of social tours direction, will constitute eight thousand rbl.

The predicted volume of financing of the program for 2013 at the expense of the republican budget makes 28,6 million rbl. It is planned to render social tourism services to about three thousand pensioners and disabled people current year, the press-service of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Bashkortostan marks.
