Bashinform News Agency representative has taken part in a meeting of Coordination Council of Turkic Media platform in Istanbul

The day before a meeting of Coordination Council of a Media platform of Turkic speaking states and regions took place in Istanbul. Representatives of mass-media and non-governmental organisations of Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Autonomous republic Gagauzia as a part of Moldova, Autonomous republic Crimea as a part of Ukraine and other countries and regions took part in it. Russia was represented by journalists from the Karachayevo-Cherkessian Republic, and also Bashkortostan, in particular, by Alik Shakirov, the deputy chief editor of Bashinform News Agency.

Yesterday at the meeting it was discussed a preparation for the third meeting of the Media platform of Turkic speaking states and regions. Murat Karakaja, General Secretary of Media platform stated that the general management of the Media platform for the period since the Baku meeting spent a great organizational work. In particular, a portal of the Media platform was created on the Internet which will be further improved. Its presentation will be held at the third meeting of the Media platform.

As to carrying out of the meeting of the Media platform it was decided, that it would pass in the beginning of November this year in the capital of Kyrgyzstan the city of Bishkek.

Participants of the meeting of Coordination Council in Istanbul discussed and approved the agenda of the third forum of the Media platform in Bishkek, and also the Charter of the Media platform of Turkic speaking states and regions.
