More than 430 thousand schoolchildren will start new academic year in Bashkiria

More than 430 thousand schoolchildren will begin the new academic year in Bashkortostan. 44 thousand children will go to the first form.

In 2013 the Day of Knowledge falls on Sunday, therefore a holiday was transferred on Monday, September 2. As the Ministry of Education RB informs, it will begin with a celebratory lineup and will come to the end with an open lesson devoted to the 20th anniversary of the Constitution of the Russian Federation.

According to the department, for today there are 1587 schools and 812 their branches in the republic. All educational institutions have passed acceptance inspection and by September 1 will start to function as normal.
