Young journalists of SCO countries found out more about social and economic potential of Ufa

The head of city administration Irek Yalalov told participants of the International Forum of young journalists, bloggers and press photographers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation countries and million cities of Russia about social and economic potential of Ufa. During acquaintance with the capital of Bashkortostan visitors from Russian and foreign cities estimated a presentation of Ufa and asked questions to the mayor.

Journalists were concern of youth employment issues in Ufa, possibilities to purchase habitation and its cost, sports and tourism development.

“These days our city actively prepares for the SCO and BRICS Summits which will take place in Ufa in 2015. Your visit to Bashkortostan Republic is an excellent opportunity to get to know our region and its capital. The forum program provides presentation of our national culture, traditions, history of the peoples living in the territory of our republic and Ufa. You will also estimate industrial, innovative potential of our city,” Irek Yalalov said.

The Chairman of SCO Youth Council Taalaibek Daiyrbekov thanked for the warm welcome and invited his Ufa colleagues to take part in September meeting of the Council for exchanging experience.

It should be mentioned that Ufa hosts visitors from China, Kazakhstan, Kirghizia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and large cities of Russia. Till August 25, they will get acquainted with our republic.
