All comers will be able to check their hearts performance in Salavat Yulaev Square in Ufa

On August 24, a final stage of the «Mobile cardiologist» event will be carried out in Salavat Yulaev Square in Ufa with a mobile medical complex «Health Centre» and examination of citizens for revealing risk factors of cardiovascular diseases. Experts of the Bakulev Scientific Centre of Cardiovascular Surgery will examine everybody who wants to check his heart performance. Participants of the event will take cholesterol count and blood glucose level tests and will receive treatment and dietary guidelines.

As the republican Ministry of Health informs, six employees the Bakulev Scientific Centre of Cardiovascular Surgery arrived in Ufa as part of «Mobile cardiologist» event. Their team includes cardiovascular surgeons, an arrhythmologist, children and adult cardiologists. Similar events have already passed in Salavatsky, Duvansky, Karaidelsky and Kiginsky regions of the republic.

“If during an examination a necessity of surgery operations is revealed, they will be made free of charge at the expense of republican or federal budgets,” the Minister of Health of Bashkortostan George Shebaev said. “This campaign is spent annually, as well as cancer revealing campaigns. The relation to health gradually changes among people, we see it during such events carrying out. It was considered earlier that human health depends only on a doctor. Actually it is not so — only about 25 percent of health of a person depends on public health services. The main thing is the way of life, sports activities and healthy food. These are the most important mechanisms of influence on our health.”
