«You are not alone» social campaign has started in Bashkiria

The «You are not alone» social campaign in support of elderly people started at republican post offices, the press-service of Bashkortostan Directorate of Russian Post informs.

Till October 1, everybody can come to any post office of Bashkortostan and send a no-address letter or a card, a parcel to elderly people, which are at homes for the aged. You should put down a letter or a card into a special box established in a post office, or simply to pass to the operator of the post office. Besides, it is possible to make a remittance, a subscription or to send a parcel as a gift.

The «You are not alone» social campaign, for the first time spent by Russian Post in 2012, was recognised one of the best social projects. In 2012 the Bashkir branch of Russian Post collected about two thousand cards, letters and parcels with gifts. Not only adults, but also children — schoolchildren, cadets, pupils of children's homes, volunteers of various public organizations took part in the campaign.

Post messages and gifts collected in 2013 will be handed over to addressees on October 1, on the International Day of Older Persons.
