UMPO will present a mock-up of the engine for the fifth-generation jet fighter at MAKS-2013

At MAKS-2013 Ufa Engine Industrial Association (UMPO) will present a full-scale mock-up of the engine for the fifth-generation jet fighter, the company press-service informs.

The International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS -2013 will be held from August 27, till September 1, in the town of Zhukovsky, the Moscow Region. The UMPO delegation as a part of the United Engine Corporation (UEC) exposition will show the AL-41F-1S engine mock-up. Ufa Engine Industrial Association is the main developer and manufacturer of this engine. It is delivered for Su-35 jet fighters.

The exposition of United Engine Corporation this year will be organised by a division principle. The division «Engines for Military Aviation» except the engine AL-41F-1S will present also mock-ups of RD-33MK and AL-31FN engines.

It will be possible to see product samples of UMPO also as part of the projects which are realised by partners of the company from other UEC divisions, — «Engines for Civil Aviation» and «Helicopter Engines». In particular, accessories for engines PD-14 (intended for prospective aircraft MS-21, the head developer —"Aircraft Engine" design bureau) and VK-2500 for Mi-8/Mi-17 helicopters (developed and manufactured by JSC "Klimov") will be presented at the stand.
