Solemn opening of a new mosque will take place in Ufa

On Friday, August 23, the new mosque "Daniya" will be opened in the northern part of Ufa. As the press-service of the city administration informs, the new mosque is located in Timashevo settlement.

The Chairman of the Russia's Central Spiritual Governance for Muslims, the Supreme Mufti Talgat Tadzhuddin and the Chairman of Council for Religious Affairs at the Government RB Vyacheslav Pyatkov will take part in the opening ceremony.

All visitors of the holiday will plant trees for a memorable alley near the mosque. Then organizers by Islamic traditions of hospitality will invite everybody for a celebratory meal with hot pilaf and tea.

In 2009 a foundation of the mosque was laid, but works in absence of financing continued very slowly. Traditionally the temple was built on money of parishioners. In the end of 2011 one of welfare funds transferred 1,5 million rbl. for the construction.

A prayer hall of the new mosque can welcome 80 people, a canteen for 60 seats is located on the ground floor.
