Ufa national team successfully acts at Summer International Children's Games

Two competitive days at the Summer International Children's Games, which are passing in the Canadian city of Windsor were successful for Ufa representatives.

Preliminary tournaments in game kinds of sports, and also qualifying tours in individual competitions took place. It should be mentioned that the Ufa delegation is presented in two kinds — volleyball and track and field athletics.

The first medal was brought by Snezhana Trofimets in track and field athletics — the second place in shot put with result of 11,12 metres that was her personal record.

Ufa resident Alina Handeeva passed into the "A" final in long jump with the fifth result.

The Ufa volleyball team successfully passed qualifying meetings and was included in the final four teams. The greatest interest was excited by the match with the home team of the city of Windsor. Conceding with a difference in nine balls, alumni of coach Vyacheslav Sedov managed to turn the game around and win it.
