Days of Bashkir Honey took place in Chelyabinsk

Chelyabinsk hosted the «Days of Bashkir Honey» fair dated to Savior of the Honey Feast Day and Savior of the Apple Feast Day.

About 20 producers from Bashkortostan have presented various types of honey and beekeeping products at the fair. Visitors took part in tasting of delicacy, and bee-keepers competed in the «Best Honey» competition. Besides, everybody interested received consultations of experts in bee raising.

The price of Bashkir honey at beekeepers has made approximately 300 rbl. per kg. In the capital of Russia it costs twice as much.

According to Representative RB in the Chelyabinsk region Amur Habibullin, products of the best beekeepers from various region of the republic were presented at the fair. Alpine, May, mountain and lime tree honey were in the greatest demand.
