60 women of Bashkortostan are awarded with «Maternity glory» medals on Thursday August 1. They will enlarge the list of those six thousand women which in different years have already received this high state award.

Anticipating the awarding ceremony, the Deputy Prime-Minister of Government RB Liliya Gumerova said that mothers deserved popular adoration, and especially those having many children.

Therefore the state policy realised by the republican authorities is directed, first of all, on motherhood and childhood support.

“Only for the last year the funds directed on support of families with children have made 3 billion 200 million rbl. From this year large families with per capita income below the living wage receive on each child from one and a half till three years a grant in the sum of three thousand rbl. One more good kind of support is housing certificates. The sum of each of them on average makes over 2,5 million rbl. For today they were received by 170 families, there are more than one thousand of families in the waiting list,” Liliya Gumerova marked.

According to the Deputy Prime-Minister, the main thing is that a family and especially a large family should be respected, not be perceived in our society as a certain rare phenomenon. Everybody should aspire to it.
