August 8 is declared a day off in Bashkortostan

According to the Order of the Government of Bashkortostan Republic from November 2, 2012, the 8th of August — the day of Muslim holiday Uraza-Bairam is declared as a day off.

This year Uraza-Bairam falls on Thursday. Working hours on Wednesday, August 7, are reduced by one hour, the press-service of the Ministry of Labour RB informs.

On the grounds of Article 120 of the Labour Code of the Russian Federation at granting annual main or annual additional paid holidays the day off on August 8 is not included into calendar days of the holidays.
